Breakout Sessions

What’s a meetup without the chance to learn? In addition to getting together, we’ve arranged a handful of excellent breakouts— brought to you by community leaders.

Space in the breakout sessions is extremely limited, so we ask that you use the opportunity for learning something new for you. Save the chance to meet our hosts for later in the meetup area.

Keycap Design!

Q&A Panel

What makes a good colorway? Where does inspiration come from? How the hell do I make a novelty? The process of designing keysets is as varied and colorful as the sets themselves. This year we’ve gathered a handful of proven designers, stuck them behind the mic, and it’s up to you to ask the questions and drive the conversation!

His goal was to create a mechanism that would perform flawlessly without rattle or requiring lubrication. This is a talk about stabilizers, yes, but it’s also about the process of design and discovery—and the circuitous path that led to a patent-pending solution to the oldest unsolved problem in the world of keyboards.
